Yes, I'm a musician that loves cars, always have been, can't explain why. I love music and what it does to me and the people I share the Earth with.
Like a Sherlock Holmes episode, the game is afoot for any morsel of music that can be turned into something that changes your life. You can't touch it but it's as real and undeniable as a baracuda in the bath tub. I can't imagine a world without music, it would be awful but too much of any one thing "makes Johnny a dull boy" so in walks the need for the counterpoint. Something else for the brain to hold onto while the soul is experimenting.
For me, it's cars. Most of the good ideas come to me while hangin' with my hot rod . . . it's like a being in the eye of the hurricane all calm and collected while a few feet away the world is getting its ass kicked. You watch with a smile of understanding. Cars are music to me and sometimes, I get lost in that world.
I got a day off recently and got to do my most favorite thing in the world, I went into the wild and brought a car back to be saved and made cooler than it was before! Got a few pics that I would like to share with you. One song has already come out of this adventure with more on the way.
I plan on adding to this blog again soon while writing and working on cars. I've named this car "The Blog Rod", so while I'm on the path to driving the BLOG, remember, you're a mess but he loves you.
